Download Firmware 3.18 PUP for PlayStation Vita (Direct Links)
Sony recently rolled out a new firmware update (version 3.18) for its PlayStation Vita console, seemingly meant to fix some stability bugs and security issues that were left unnoticed in previous software updates. You can either download this update through your Wifi connection or manually via the direct download links to its PUP file given below.
In case your PS Vita is already connected to Wifi network, save your time and kick off the console’s automatic update by navigating to Settings » Start » System Update » Update using Wifi. After the package has been downloaded, follow the onscreen instructions to finalize the update.

How to Update using PUP File
- Download “PSVUPDAT.PUP” file via the aforementioned links.
- Take an empty PS Vita-compatible memory card (aka PS Vita card) and copy “PSVUPDAT.PUP” to its root directory.
- Turn off the console and insert your PS Vita card.
- Next, reboot the console and wait for update to pop up.
- It’ll take a few minutes before it gets finished. Don’t even try to touch any button during the upgrade!
